Before you think about a revision you might want to go back and talk with a
dietian.......if you have gained 50 lbs then there is a reason and you
need to tackle that answer first.....another surgeru will not get you back
on track if you have not stayed on track to begin with.....I'm not
belittling or preaching here....but none of us got to where we were in the
first place if we didn't have issues with food.....so after having the
surgery the first time and not being able to keep the weight off....then
perhaps you didn't deal with those issues.....and the sad part is a lot of
us don't...we go in get the surgery.....and we are put out on our
own....and little by little be eat more and more for what ever
reason.....then th weight starts back up.......until we are taught to deal
with the real issues.....we will never be successful..... Most of us think
ths id our answer....but unless we do it right and follow what we are
suppose to do ....it won't work in the long run unless we are working with
it....so just think about this.....weather we have gastric......lap-band or
the sleeve only 50% of our success is the surgery....the other is
ourselves.......
so why not try seeing your Dr first and talking with a dietian...My
insurance won't pay for a second surgery......they
will ithere is a problem but not if I have gained weight back.
Hope this heps and good luck,,,,,you might find that your's does........but
no matter what you ahve done......none of it's fool proof or food proof.
