Question:
I need to lose 30 lbs in 3 months
I am almost 6 months out so i know I am still losing, but maybe only like 6 lbs a month, and I really want to acheive 30 lbs in 3 months. what sort of diet and exercise regiment should I be doing for this? does anyone know of any websites where I can get info on it? — wecangetright (posted on August 8, 2007)

Your surgeon and nutritionist should be helping you achieve your goal.
After 6 months your weight loss does slow down but depending on how close
you are to goal you should still be losing about 10 lbs a month. Step up
your exercise program and still continue to have your protein first,
veggies and fruits second, carbs last.

I couldn't find anywhere on your profile that says the type of surgery you
had and your BMI is already low. Not sure if 30 pounds in 3 months is
reasonable if you are already near your goal weight and if you had lap
band, it's going to be slower anyway. Why force it? Just do what you need
to do, eat right, exercise, and it will all fall into place. When we get
anxious about goal setting, we set ourselves up for failure. 'Best to just
keep living the new lifestyle and let "God" do the rest. We'll
get where we're supposed to be and above all be HEALTHY! That should be
our ultimate goal, feeling great and living longer and holding on to our
health!
