I belong to a support group through the clinic where I had my surgery.
It's about 45 minutes to an hour away from Whitehall. Check with the local
hospitals (Lehigh Valley is the biggest one up there I think) and see if
they have anything. Good luck on your search!

Easton Hospital in Easton, Pa...They are held 2 times a month. You can call
Mandy the Bariatric Coordinator @ 610-250-4116 and her voice mail will tell
you the upcoming dates.
Easton is about 20 mins. away from Whitehall. Hope this helps you.

Madiline,
If you can't find a support group in your area, there is a On-Line Chat
Room Support Group at: "www.denverbariatrics.com". It is from
8PM to 9PM MST on the first and third Wednessday of every month. If you
are in EST-that would be 6PM to 7PM. It is open to everybody, not just our
patients. It is a very active group. It is even great to have if you do
have a support group as an added support. There is a Nurse
Practioner/Nutritionist, a PA and a Surgeon that take turns on it, so there
is medical staff that you can ask questions to. It is great!
