Question:
How much is it for an arm lift?

My arms are SO flabbly I could probly save alot of gas by flying to work everyday!!! It's nasty and I want to get rid of them! I was thinking about plastic surgery on my arms and wondering how much it might cost?? But, for now I'm going to get me some arm weights and see if that does the job first. I just had my arms and tummy tuck done on July 21. My surgeon fees were $1,500 for arm and then about another $1500 for anesthia and hospital fees. I had my tummy tuck approved by my insurance company, however arms were not covered. So the surgeon 'gave me a break' since he was doing my other surgery etc. I figured I mine as well get both surgeries out of the way at one time. Best of luck! Lisa

If your arms will are as flabby as you say they are (mine were awful, and after the arm lift I still don't feel comfortable in short leaves (in public anyway), I was left with horrible skin that is full of stretch marks and my arms have a big crease in the middle like I have seen some babies have in their arms & legs, LOL..), the weights WILL NOT HELP!! Been there, tried that!! Once skin is so stretched out it can not be tightened with weight-lifting or excersising even my doctor told me this!! You can tone up the muscle, but skin has to be taken off!!

To answer your questions on how much plastic surgery is going to cost go to : www.obesityhelp.com/cointent/lifeafter.html This page gives you the US national average for surgeon-fees for selected plastic surgery procedures.

Working out with weights will firm your muscles, but will do nothing for the loose skin. Plastic surgery is your only option to get rid of it. I am in the same boat! I long to wear a swimsuit again, but cannot even wear short sleebes or tight clothes because of my loose skin everywhere! I do not understand why the plastic surgery is not covered, but it is not. I mean, it is not the same as not liking your nose!
