Question:
A constant twitching in my legs what could it be?
I am a year and 9 months post op. I have had a constant twitching in my legs and in my arms sometimes. Waiting on Dr. results. Has anyone had these symtoms before and what could it be? — CARRIE C. (posted on June 16, 2005)

I think your blood tests should reveal any deficiency that you have. It
may be Iron.

Hi,
It sounds like you are not getting enough water into your
daily routine & probably very low on Potassium. That will
cause leg cramps & the twitching you are talking about. Your Doc
should be able to tell what is up with your levels.
Hope this helps you our.

The twitching could be a symptom of magnesium deficiency which will not
show up in your blood work. The twitching muscles and cramps in feet and
legs are some of the first symptoms. I was having a big problem with foot
and ankle cramps, started taking a magnesium supplement and no problems
now. Carmen
