Question:
Been approved for Panni thinking about changing Dr. to one closer to home 1hr. verses
3hrs. Is there any important questions I need to ask about surgery? Maybe something I have not thought of? — BARBARA D. (posted on November 17, 2004)

Nothing wrong with changing docs but just be sure to ask all of the same
questions of the new doc as you did of the original one. Do not assume
that when one doc talks a panni that the next doc is talking exactly the
same procedure. Some do as much as a TT with muscle tightening and call it
a panni. If you have fat/skin deposits around to the back find out where
the panni will stop. If it's exactly at your side then you will likely
have dog ears. Just be sure that the final surgeon who will do the work
has explained in great detail what HE or SHE will do.
