Question:
Anyone know if Prophyria affects WLS?

My dad has been diagnosed with Acute Intermittant Hereditary Prophyria. I searched the web but can't find any info as to if it is a good thing (comorbitity) or a bad thing (making you a bad surgery candidate). Anyone have any info for me?    — Melody M. (posted on July 8, 2002)
