Has any one used Dr.Krause in Michigan on self pay?

Has any one used Dr Kevin .Krause on a self pay plan at Beaumont Hospital? I need to know how they worked with you on the self pay. PLEASE!    — Lisa B. (posted on March 20, 2002)

Hi Lisa, Dr. Kevin Krause in Michigan is listed on this website and patients have even posted comments about him. You are able to talk to his patients as well by clicking on their name or email address. Go here: http://obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/mdcomments.phtml?N=997387572 or if you have problems getting there that way, go to "find a doc" (located at the top of this webpage), click on "Browse the list", click on Michigan and it will bring up the list of doctors. Scroll down to his name and click on "view" located to the extreme right of his name. If you have any problems finding it, let me know : )

I just spoke to Dr. Krause's office and he ONLY does the lap RNY procedure. He is in network for me but I couldn't qualify for his procedure unless I weighed 270. I'm 5'8" and weigh 252 that makes me more than 100# overweight but my BMI is not quite 39. Today is 07/02/02 and he's booked out until Sept. or Oct. 2003.
