Question:
Is there any support groups in the Houston, TX area?

Yes! There are 2 groups in the Houston area. Houston Weight Loss Surgery Support Group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HWLSSG) - This group meets the first Sunday of every month at 3 p.m. in the Park Plaza Professional Building (in the museum district at the corner of Caroline and Binz). Northwest Houston Bariatric Support Group (http://communities.msn.com/NWHBSG) - This group meets the third Sunday of every month at 2 p.m. at Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center (in northwest Houston near 290 and 1960). I usually hemhaw about going. Once I get there I am so glad I did. Very nice people:)
