Question:
Why won't my pics and clipart show on my page?
I PUT MY WEB PAGE TOGETHER AT WORK SAVING ALL THE CLIPART AND PICTURES USED ON MY PERSONALIZED SITE AND WHEN I GO ON ANOTHER COMPUTER TO SHOW SOMEONE I DON'T SEE THE RESULTS JUST BOXES WHERE EVERYTHING SHOULD BE. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG. I AM USEING HTML CODING AND EVERYTHING. — KISHA M. (posted on January 19, 2002)

Are you trying to save your web page to a hard drive or floppy? And then
hoping to show it to someone??? If so, email me and I can email you a
shareware program that you can save a web page with. You can also save a
Web page with IE6.

The reason your images don't show is because you have the addresses pointed
to your own computer, for personal viewing. Your images need to be uploaded
to an ftp with public access for viewing. The reason that you can see them
is because it's pointing to your own Documents. When I viewed the source on
your profile I see this <IMG SRC="C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Pictures\flow12.gif"<br>
for an image. This will tell whoever looks at that page to look in their
Documents for this image, it's not in their documents but in yours. If you
have a friend that has a webpage maybe they will upload the images for you.
(if not, email me and I'll upload them for you to use and give you the
links to put on your site)
I'd be more then happy to help. Take a look at my profile if you like! Good
Luck, Lisa

I don't know about the last post. I always seem to have trouble posting
pics to this site, too. I have my own web page, and I put the URL of a
picture from my website on this site, but it still came up with that broken
image thing. No matter what I did, I could not get the image to load
right. Weird. Hopefully someone knows why this happens.
