Question:
I had RNY in Jan of 2002, then in 2008, after feeling like s failure in 2008, I had

a lapband put on, as time went on, no weight came off, I would go to the surgeon and he would either inject the port or take the saline out, I complained fro years about my the pain in my stomach, finally I went to a different doctor, after the pain could be tolerated no more, the did an endoscopy and discovered that my stomach contained nothing but food that had never digested, now I have to have surgery scheduled to have it all removed, it is a major surgery, anyone else ever have this happen to them? The pain is terrible, I have not had a bowel movement in years unless I took stool softners and a ton of laxatives. I am scared as this surgery requires an open surgey. I can not answer your question as to why it took so long to figure out the cause of the pain. My heart goes out to you. I wish you a speedy recovery.
