Question:
VOMITING POSTOP LAB-BANDING

Is there alot of nausea and vomiting postop LapBanding? If so, how long does this last?    — IRESHEIS (posted on April 27, 2010)

I had my realize band on Feb 23,2010.No vomiting at all.My stomach felt a little quesssy the first day.I have only had one fill so far.

I just had surgery last week. I had no vomiting but did feel a little nausea a couple of times within the first few days out. Feel fine now. But everyone is different in how they physically handle the surgery.

I also did not have vomiting with the band, I got a little nausea when they first sat me up after surgery, No biggie. The only other times I had vomiting was when I tried to eat to fast or tried to eat something too dry, then if you end up with your band too full, it will make you sick. Good Luck and God Bless
