I had trouble swallowing water and my dr told me to put a little juice or
lemon in it to break up the water molecules and it really works. I dont
like the taste as much but i drink more water now

64 oz is the amount we should get daily but it has to be worked up to. You
don't come out of surgery able to do that. Just keep sipping and shooting
for that goal. Another acceptable liquid on most doctor's plans is sugar
free popsicles. I ate tons of them at first. The cold seemed to soothe my
pouch and didn't fill me up the way liquids did.

64 ounces of anything fluid....ie broth, flavored water, jello, popcicles,
etc...liquids...64 ounces...of course right out of the hospital you won't
be able to drink that amount...it will take a few days to work your way up
to that. Best of luck and congrats! hugs, kim
