Actually mine was to the right, then stopped and reappeared on the
left...lol...But, my doc said it is usually just nerves and not a lot you
can do...I also found that it is bowel related...so heat can help in some
situations...Is yours more a deep stabbing burn than an actual
pin-pointable pain? I wouldn't worry, that might make it worse...And it
does go away...You just had your insides stirred up a bit, so give a moment
or two to collect itself...lol...Good luck and keep me posted on your
progress!!

Mine feels like a burning, but it does better if I keep my wrap on and keep
it tight.

Watch for hernias. As you lose fat around your intestines, they kind of
flop around in there! I noticed lower abdominal pain in the same place and
the Dr. is following up with a hernia check.

I think both are good answers. I had no pain at all after my LPS/RNY but I
had LAP?hernia repair and was in horrible pain. Like Cody said - the inside
of our bodies have gone through a lot. Probably have never been touched
before so pain after surgery is understandable. Just don't let it go too
long.
