Question:
HELP ?? What can you eat after surical complication ??

I had a gastric leak and have not been able to eat or drink for 3 months. I can't eat meat yet, does anyone have suggestions on what else I might try ??    — Michelle B. (posted on September 6, 2008)

Please follow your nutritionist advice. I would stick to the simple liquid diet until my body adjust to it's new functions and heel the wound caused by the surgery. Good luck Dani

You need to talk to your doctor about this. How have you been getting nutrition? If you've been on TPN, then you'll need to resume eating/drinking slowly to give your gut time to get used to things. If you've had a feeding tube, you'll still need to go slow. Please talk to your doctor about this. Goodluck.
