my first response is "it's gas and will pass".
my second response is - when does it happen? After you eat? Drink? or just
all of the time? if it's after you eat/drink, it's probably gas, slow down
and sip. if it's all the time and persists, talk to you doc.

I agree I am I week post op RNY, I had what I thought was cramps, but
actually it was gurgling and I was not drinking enough, slow down and
drink the fluids necessary

I too have had these cramps/Pains. I went yesterday to see my Doctor and he
says it is something with the nerve endings. He said that it will get
better with the vitamins. Which I have not started being only 2 weeks post
opp. However he did start me on them now. I think it is the B-12 that is
suppose to help this.It sure sounds crazy to me. Every thing was doing
great and then this pain just up and started. And some times I can hardley
stand the shooting pain that I get.

I too have been getting which sound like the same thing. I also think it
is gas related or I could be lactose intolerant. I've been taking GAS X
and seems to help. I take it as soon as it starts. But ask your Dr. if
1st you can take it and 2nd what he thinks it might be. I have my
appointment in April. Best of luck

It could be one of two things - gas or you are constipated. I had that
pain for the entire 6 weeks after my surgery and on week 5 my doc asked if
I could be constipated and I realized I was. I took Milk of Magnesia -
cleaned everything out and guess what - pain and cramps were gone. Ask
your doc for sure, but that was what worked for me.
