Your question is incomplete but I just wanted to say I have sleep apnea and
wear a mask every night. I believe the surgery gives about an 83% chance
of eliminating sleep apnea depending on what is causing it in each
particular case. If its the weight of the stomach on the diaphragm, that's
one thing that weight loss can ease if not fully correct. Without the mask
I snore like thunder and make gurgling gasping sounds trying to get air. I
am scheduled for surgery later this month and will take my mask with me for
recovery in the hospital. What is your question in full, by the way? Do
you have the support of your sleep specialist? Good luck!
