Hi Sandy,
As for me, sometimes it can take a week before I notice the difference when
I have a fill done. So give it a little time.

i agree with Bill, you need to give it some time at least 2 weeks. The
main goal is to go 3-4 hours without hunger with proper nutrition.

I've only had one fill but for the next few days afterwards I was very
hungy - hungrier than I had been since the surgery. About a week later it
kicked in. Good luck to you!

Hello Sandy, I had my lap banding on 3-7-07 and my first fill on -5-14-07
and am going for my second on 6-19-07. I felt no difference in how much I
could eat or drink. Untill about 2 weeks later. I went out to lunch with my
sister. And that night I got so sick I thought I was going to die. I had
pain in my back and my rib cage and under my breast. Well I had no idea
what it was from. But it lasted from 10pm till 5:30 am. And not being to
bright it has happened 2 other times now I finally called the doctor. And I
was over eating. The pouch got way to full. And when that happens you have
to wait for it to go down on its own. So difinately follow the Drs. orders
and start eating less now. Don't be dumb like me and think the fill did
nothing. And good luck to you. Shirleysf
