Does this Pressure occur mainly at night while in bed and you've eatten something before laying downn? Well I get it too! Feels as though your having a "Heart Attack".

Sorry I hit the wrong key - The first time I had the feeling It was 3 AM and yes I did call the EMTs Rescue Squad. But as they arried and we're coming in the frint door......... I Burped and again while they were doing the EKG. And suddenly all pressure pains disappeared. And all test even later with a Cardiologist came back with nothing wring. My Surgeon giggled whn I told him,,,,,,, It's just gas from eatting to late and too close before going to bed. I've experienced this 4 times now and as soon as I burp I'm fine again. So watch what you eat before laying down.

Hi Rosa, sorry you have having pressure in your chest. When you have wls, they usually blow you up with a gas to check for leaks. This gas can take a great deal of time to disapate. You can also be building up intestonal gas that can put pressure in the chest area. Please be sure you speak to your surgeon about this. They know what to expect and how to walk you through this. My surgeon told me that if I was not getting better every day then I need to let her know. She meant it and I took her advice seriously. Take mine seriously, please call your surgeon, but it is most like a surgical gas or your intestines learning to work properly again. Take care, Patricia P.

I get it when I eat too fast and I have to stop and it eventually either goes away or it feels so bad I finally dump. Thank God that has only happened once. So chew and eat slower and see what happens.

Do you still have your gall bladder? Did they do an ultrasound to see if that could be a problem? I had the symptoms of angina (chest pain, couldn't draw a breath, back pain and pressure). Turned out my gall bladder was completely full of stones. Just a thought.
