Question:
Men. Penis size after you have the surgery
After the surgery and after some post op time as you lose weight in your lower torso and lower body, does the size of your penis larger because of the excess fat no longer being there? I wonder because I'm a big man and it's not tiny, but I was just wondering if this was true. I also am considering the surgery. — want_2_slimdown (posted on September 13, 2006)

Due to the weight loss, it seems that your penis does get larger. (longer)
I weighed 600# and had surgery in 2001. Another added benefit is that your
sex drive goes into OVERDRIVE!!! :)

I just noticed that I was the first woman to post to your question. My
husband had the surgery in 2004, and yes, he has gotten bigger. His sex
drive is off the wall, often true, it does drive me nuts..
This is surely something you do not have to worry about. My husband was
almost 300 pounds and now is down to 175.
Good Luck, Crystal Yeast

While I highly doubt that your penis will get bigger as the rest of you is
getting smaller, let's face it, everything's relative. The same sized
penis on a 200 lb. man will look much larger in comparison to a 500 lb.
man, for instance. If you end up carrying lots of loose skin in front
after your weight loss and then have plastic surgery, you'll even be able
to SEE it without much trouble. And oh yeah, I've definitely heard about
the sex drive going into hyperdrive. Good luck with that!

Your penis will not get bigger or longer from wls. When you or a partner
looks at your penis now, it looks smaller because your gut/abdomen hides
some of the length. When you lose a lot of weight, the full length of your
penis becomes visible, causing it to look longer.
I hope penis size is not the motivation for wls. :) Might want to
reconsider if that's the case.
Good luck!

The answers you've gotten are good. I just wanted to add to the "it's
all relative" factor. If you do have the surgery, you're going to lose
a lot of weight in the fatty padded area around your penis, as well as your
belly, which will make it LOOK and feel larger, just because the areas
around it restricting it get smaller. I guess nobody touched on this area,
but I have no modesty.LOL---The thing is that penetration is further
enabled for both women and men. Women lose in that area down there too,
trust me. Both sexes also usually find that losing the belly makes things
go a lot easier and more enjoyably. Honestly, if I'd known this beforehand,
it might have been reason enough for having surgery. LOL Anyway, good luck.
