They approved the panni part of a lower body lift, plus a hernia repair. I
self-paid for the rest of the LBL. And they disapproved the thighs, breast
lift, and batwings. My PS sent in pictures showing how badly my tummy skin
hung. Getting the full LBL was worth it, 15 pounds of skin removed.

what is a panni for the LBL

The panni is just the removal of the skin on the belly. The LBL goes all
the way around and pulls up the buttocks and outer thighs in addition to
flattening out the belly.

Hi. You will have to prove medical necessity in most cases. Check some
downloable resources on my website www.bodylifthouston.com under PATIENT
RESOURCES for some tips on getting insurance approval.
