Most insurances will pay to have the panniculetomy(sp?) but not a tummy
tuck which means they will pay to remove the saggy skin if you have rashes
or issues like that but not to tighten the muscle. A doc I recently heard
talk said they would bill for two different procedures so your insurance
pays for half and you pay half.

It may be possible for you to get this covered by insurance if your policy
states coverage is available when medically necessary. Check your policy
handbook and if you don't have one simply call them directly and ask. It
may be considered medically necessary if you are needing a bladder lift;
your surgeon could advise you. I would consult with a plastic surgeon as
well as he may be able to help you with a letter in support of a medical
necessity based on your previous surgeries that resulted in scar tissue of
the abdominal muscles. If all else fails you may want to consider self-pay
for the TT when you have the bladder lift (if this is possible to have both
at the same time). You would be able to save $ on anesthesia and operating
room time at least.

Hay thanks, when i asked about the stomache flab i wasn't even thinking so
much about saving on surgery room and anisthetic i was more thinking about
the pain of yet anouther surgery and even more scar tissue.i am also
thinking that since i am going through all of this pain i atleast want to
look good afterwords. saving money is always a plus. beleive me i will
check all options befor i do anything. I also read on this website that
people are starting to donate theire skin to burn paients and insurance
will cover the cost, that also is a great idea, your not only doing
something for yourself but helping someone else at the same time
