yes you can!!! and they actually gave me crystal light in the hospital.
the only thing I have to say is that I loved it before surgery but not so
much afterwards...lol. there are many different sugar/carb free drinks you
can have that taste good though. Diet Lipton Green Tea, Powerade Zero,
VitaRain from Costco, etc...just gotta do your research and find something
you like. Good luck!

I've gotta jump in here with a somewhat unique suggestion... I love Crystal
Light On the Go packets, so I have them all over the house. But, after
surgery, I began to have bowel movement issues (like not having any, for
instance)... and nothing I was taking, except for Phillips Milk of Mag, was
helping. But, just last week, I found Benefiber has a flavored "stick
pack" (Kiwi Strawberry) that you just put into 16.9 oz of water, and
it gives you a load of fiber which helps to keep you regular. I drink 2 -
three bottles of the Benefiber water per day, and I've been having a lot
better results with my regularity problem! Try it... you'll like it!

I agree that I loved these flavored waters prior to surgery and I CAN have
them, but I do NOT WANT them. The taste seems completely different. I think
they did some surgery on my tastes during surgery:-) Hopefully I will now
have a desire for ONLY healthy things.

I do, as a matter of fact I am now, LOL!
What I prefer is K2O Protein Water. You can get the (flavored) little
packets (which is actually cheaper) or already in bottles. Wal-Mart (in the
town I live in) used to carry both... now they don't for some reason, but
Kroger still does (although they're a tad more expensive). I drink at
leaset 2-3 K2O a day and then suppliment with the Crystal Light (no
protein). But it helps with my water intake as I can't seem to drink
regular water. I'm 11 months out and have lost 123 pounds (only 12 pounds
more to go to reach my goal). So it works!

Yes, you can. For me though my tastes changed after surgery and I can't
stand their brand now, too much like Gatorade to me which is salty. Walmart
makes one that is just like the Crystal Lite brand, sans the saltiness, and
I love it. And it's a lot cheaper because I make it up by the gallon. They
have the individual packets also if you prefer to mix it one serving at a
time.

yes you can and many others that are sugarfree...Aldis sells a fit and
active drink that is sugar free and I dilute it with 1/3 fit and active and
2/3 water..otherwise its just too sweet. try different things...some sugar
substitutes may bother you , others may not...its a trial and error
process. Watch out for the sugars in some protein drinks..The K20 has sugar
and sugar alcohols that may get you sick. Everyone is different,so try new
stuff! Best of luck to you! Hugs,.kim

Absolutely! My Dr. (and others may differ) said that I could count it
towards my daily intake of water. I LIVE on the Crystal Light Raspberry
Tea. I also love the wild strawberry and banana strawberry. This is from
someone who used to drink 1-2 2 liter bottles of Sprite per day before my
band!

My taste buds haven't really changed towards Crystal Light and I do drink
Gatorade to stay hydrated properly. I do have diarrhea, I guess because I
am 3 days post-op and am on liquids only right now, but at least I am
having a bowel movement....So YES! Crystal Light is very useful! You can
also use it towards your daily water intake recommendation!
