Not quite sure what your question is...but eating meat is better than
supplementing with proteins that are not exactly natural food! ...and if
you are not having trouble with meats...that is great! If you have the
means to weigh your food, be certain to learn what an ounce looks like.
Eventually you can eyeball how much a few ounces of meat is... If you go to
one of the calorie counting sites you can see how many grams of protein are
in a few ounces of meat and that pretty much dictates what you should eat
daily as a small person maintaining your weight with the very
"general" 60 g of protein daily requirement....for 150lbs of
person... For example...3 oz of chicken breast (no skin) is about 23-24 g
of protein...3 times a day equals your 60'ish grams a day...Personally I
eat 100 gs of protein and so 4-5 ounces sustains me just fine and I am able
to maintain my weight loss at this amount of food for 4 years! Fish is the
leanest meat and when i diet, I eat mostly fish...Beef usually has the
highest protein counts but is hard to digest along with pork...Ground
turkey is a near perfect protein! I do try to get most of my meat organic
with no steriods, antibiotics or hormones! I don't like to take the drugs
they give animals...It affects our intestines severely! Another good
reason to take probiotics since these animal drugs kill the essential
bacterias in our intestines! Eating food is a good thing! Knowing what's
in your food is better! LOL
