Is the gherlin hormone removed during gastric bypass surgery?

No, RNY-ers still have to deal with the effects of the gherlin hormore
because no part of the stomach is removed with the RNY. The stomach is
just divided and rerouted along with the small intestine. If you don't
want to have to deal with the gherlin hormore the DS surgery is the way to
go.
