i am 3 weeks post op and i to feel an occasial sharp pain from within i
believe it is simply part of the healing process. now i also tend to be
doing more physical stuff than i did the very few days after surgery.

The left side is where the dr. used the most to do all the surgery. It
will get better. It is healing.

I had the same problem and I whizzed in to the Dr., he said, it is fine.
However, you need to see your Dr.

I would see your Dr. just to be on the safe side. But also you can buy a
binder to hold your mid-secition in a little better. It holds everything
in, and can give you a little confidence booster. Good Luck.

I, too experienced the same type of pain and twinges as you, but mine were
even earlier than 3 weeks postop (almost immediate). I recall mentioning
same to my surgeon at my 1-week postop. He advised me they were
"healing adhesions" and absolutely nothing to be alarmed about as
they too should pass. I am now 8 weeks postop and can report that nothing
hurts any longer at all whatsoever (and if you had laparscopic RNY the
incisions, like mine will look marvelous as well). However, as everyone
else recommended -- if you are indeed unsure it would be best to get the
reassurance from your specific doctor as everyone is an individual, thus
everyone is different. Best of luck to you!
