yOU DON'T SAY WHAT TYPE OF SURGERY YOU HAD, WHICH COULD INFLUENCE THE
ANSWER, BUT TYPICALLY NO, THIS IS NOT NORMAL. IF YOU HAD THE BAND, AND
THERE IS A LEAK IN THE TUBE YOU MIGHT HAVE LOST FLUID, THEREFORE
RESTRICTION OR YOU MIGHT HAVE A SLIP AND HAVE A MUCH LARGER POUCH ABOVE THE
BAND. THIS WOULD MAKE YOU MORE HUNGRY. EATING TOO MUCH, OR DRINKING
FLUIDS WITH MEALS WILL STRETCH YOUR POUCH ALLOWING FOR MORE HUNGER ALSO.
DO CHECK WITH YOUR DOCTOR AND GOOD LUCK WITH GETTING IT RESOLVED.

People don't normally start feeling hungry so soon after surgery, but it is
possible. Make sure it is real hunger and not head hunger. I am 13 months
out and will feel hunger occasionally. If it is true hunger, you should be
able to eat some protein and take care of it.

I had surgery 9/14/09 and I am hungry a lot too. I was hungry right after
surgery too. Not sure if it's head hunger or not. Usually a piece of
cheese, string cheese or babybel will take care of it.
