Question:
regarding medication and vitamins
When and how do you fit all your vitamins and medication in to one day. Do you take so many in the morning before you eat and the rest at night before dinner. I am not sure how to fit all that in. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks. — cuppaloopy (posted on December 2, 2009)

I take the vitamins in the morning with some milk. Then take the calcium
pills thru out the day and evening. I'm looking into the calcium chews,
because 8 pills is hard to get in. Hope this helps.

I take Bariatric Fusion. You take four chewables a day and you get
everything you need. www.bariatricfusion.com they have three flavors all
are good. My doctor recommended them.

This is something that takes time to figure out -- we don't become experts
overnight, and as our labs change, our vitamin requirements will change.
Keep in mind that some vitamins should never be taken together -- calcium
and iron don't like one another. Iron should never be taken within 2 hours
of a 300mg or higher calcium dose (this includes yogurt, cheese, coffee,
etc). B-vites all like to be taken together, and will go with anything.
Iron loves to be taken with C.
Generally speaking, I take *something* every two hours.
Be leery of any one vitamin that claims to do everything -- these typically
don't have enough of one or many things. Also, expect your needs to change
as your labs come back as we all absorb different things, well,
differently.

I use vitamist (vitamist.com) vitamins. They are spray vitamins that are
absorbed better than any other kind of vitamin, including sublingual
vitamins. I order 3 a month on an easy ship program and get a free sample
each month along with free shipping and handling. Let me know if you need
more information, and I'll try to help. God bless.
