Green tea is one of my daily drinks...I drink a pot of green tea almost daily. It is powerantioxdant as well as curbs appetite. However, any one particular diet or diet food alone is NOT going to make you lose weight. On every published diet and every diet pill are these instructions "Diet and exercise"...Those are the ONLY thing that makes you lose weight...That is a hard pill to swallow because we want so much for that magic weight loss aid...and it's JUST NOT in the ingredient, but in the instructions as "diet and exercise". There is nothing in one neat little formula! You have to work to lose weight. Make your green tea a "chai tea" using spices like nutmeg, ginger and especially CINNAMON!!! ...Cinnamon cuts belly fat, aids in insulin production therby managing blood sugar...That will HELP you! I've been using a good quality organic cassia cinnamon in protein and coffee drinks every single day for about a year and I love it! I started it for a little flare of arthritis which is gone! Thanks to the antimflammatory qualities of cinnamon as well...Here is an artical from the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) about the benefits of cinnamon...Do not eat more than a 1/2 tsp of cinnamon as it is toxic in high doses...and use a really good quality...Don't get it at the dollar store...Get it in a reputable market. You want the cassia cinnamon and you know it by it's velvet soft look and slightly sweet taste. I agree with Anita. There is no magic cure for obesity. If you want to lose weight, you have to diet and excersise. There is no way around it. Good luck.
