Sorry you are not feeling well. Glad to hear you are going to the doctor for some relief and answers. Just a thought...maybe your electrolytes are off balance, your dehydrated, or low potassium...all would cause some fatigue and possible body aches. Good luck on finding answers and relief.

Glad you are seeing the doc, first thing I would do if I was feeling like that. Have electrolytes and thyroid checked. If you have a HYPOTHYROID condition then its necessary to find out what it is and medicate it or find out the other options available. Let us know how you are doing. Let us know what it ends up being! It's probably a vitamin def or low...Probably need Vit D and/or electrolyes...(mag and or pot) I hope your doc does all your vitamin labs just to make sure everything else is in order as well!

I had the RNY done 05/27/08, so I am a little under 8 months out, and I have lost 130lb. I had the same problem for several months after my surgery. I was told by a doctor that I worked with that it was my body adjusting to the weight loss. Your joints get used to carrying all of that extra weight, so when you lose weight, your body has to find it's center of balance again, and your joints have to readjust. It does pass, but it takes time. Good luck, and let me know how you make out! :) Tricia Nash, LPN
