Yes, it's true. Not only is it true that you cannot build muscles, but if
you do not get enough protein, your body will ROB you of the protein that
it ALREADY HAS to do some essential tasks. it will take this
indiscriminately from ALL the muscles in your body INCLUDING YOUR HEART!
It is NOT GOOD to skimp on PROTEIN when you are dieting! Another thing
that you need to keep in mind is that your body needs to have the RIGHT
KIND of protein. You cannot just eat ANY KIND of protein and make it work.
Meat works fine for muscles to rebuild themselves or to build NEW muscles
all by itself, but you need to pair DAIRY, GRAINS, NUTS, and BEANS with
each other to make a whole protein that your body can use. Eating just ONE
of these things at a TIME just doesn't do it. You need to eat TWO of these
things or MORE together to get a WHOLE PROTEIN that your body can use. You
CANNOT eat DAIRY at ONE meal and, let's say, NUTS at ANOTHER to get a whole
protein. They have to be eaten TOGETHER! A PEANUT BUTTER SANDWICH on
WHOLE WHEAT BREAD is PERFECT. Add a glass of MILK or SOY MILK and that is
even BETTER! An Asian rice dish made with WHOLE GRAIN RICE and TOFU is
PERFECT! Add ALMONDS and it is even BETTER! A SOYBURGER on WHOLE WHEAT is
GREAT! Add CHEESE and you are good to go! If you don't want CHEESE, maybe
MAYO would work for you. Anyway, you get the point. To get a whole
protein with VEGETABLE sources or DAIRY, you need to BLEND the proteins.
Trail Mix, Granola, or Musilix on yogurt is a great way to get a blended
protein on the run. I hope this helps. Hugh

Ditto what Hugh said! Besides the protein that a variety of these natural
foods make in combinations of amino acids...they also provide a wide range
nutrient rich, key vitamins and minerals that are usually the best recieved
and absorbed by your body over any supplement...But don't stop taking vits
either because with the little amount of food you can consume, you still
need extra vits without the extra food and calories! (just for your
info)....
Also some of these combos do not have to be eaten all together, but within
about a day or 24 hours...So you can eat some nuts inbetween snacks...or a
cheese snack here or there. But you do have to have the varieties of food
daily to insure a good complete protein process and insure you are getting
all the key amino acids (About 12-13 of them) in the right amounts that
make up a complete protein (21 all together). Our bodies can make some
proteins from the key protein, but we do not have a means to store protein
and so it MUST be gotten from food DAILY for health and survival! Plants
generally have and store all 21 aminos and that is why they do not need
food...Just water and sunshine and whatever other nutrients it gets from
the enviroment. The aminos that make up a protein all have their own
specific jobs and duties...Some rejuvenate cells , others work on healing,
some on the blood, some on the muscles, skin, some fight cancers or free
radicals in your body, some are warriors against disease, some provide
vits...Some work hand in hand with your body to keep everything running
smooth and perfect. If you do not get all the key aminos, you can never
make a complete protein and that can lead to disease and ultimately death.
So, PLEASE don't listen to people that tell you not to eat stuff like
peanut butter or nuts and seeds and grains or to drink milk or eat cheese
because they fear fat and weight gain. I don't know how those people
survive on such scary advice...but eventually it will catch up with them
and it won't be happy news. Yes...Protein builds muscles and insures your
LIFE!

Powerful and truthful answers from Hugh and Anita R. Powerful and
truthful. Please do read and APPLY what both Hugh and Anita write to the
new habits you are forming. I also recommend you clip this advise and post
it to always remind you. Then, when you talk with other folks who are
robbing their bodies of proper nutrients, give them the gift of life by
providing them a copy of what Hugh and Anita R. wrote to you. Blessings.
