Proteins will always be helpfull in your weight loss efforts. Help to keep
you fuller longer and build lean muscle mass. If you are wondering what to
do, go back to the basics. Protein and veggies, low carb, 3 meals and no
snacks, water, water, water, no drinks with meals, journaling your intake
and emotions and exercise.
Remember to do some emotional work everyday... some personal discovery
about your relationship with food, read about WLS, read WLS/low carb
cookbooks and try out the recipes, meditate- I plug my earphones in my
laptop as I have 5 different meditative cd's loaded about health,
abundance, being the best I can be... you get it, journal or whatever it is
you can do other than eating to help in your long term success.
Don't forget to lean on us as well,

Protein does not store in the body...Simple Carbs and sugar stores as
fat... However calories are calories and it doesn't matter whether they
come from lettuce or cake or hamburger...3500 calories are one
pound...PERIOD! There really is no huge secret or special diet. Dropping
calories is what helps you lose weight. Burning fuel is what helps you lose
weight...eating foods that are dense and keep you fuller longer are likely
to be proteins! They don;t store as fat like sugar does...They don't make
you crave sugar like sugar does. So eating protein in place of simple carbs
and sugars is a great aid in dieting, although not necessarily an easy way
to lose weight. You still need to cut calories and the easiest fastest way
is to cut 500 calories of simple carbs a week to lose 1 pound a week...Eat
fruits and veggies, but eat mostly protein every meal and work
out...Protein feeds muscles and muscles burn fat. Hope that answered you
question.

It's always EXERCISE. Get out a lest 1-2 hours a day. Keep a food log, and
remember sometimes the Body is just resting.

Don't forget a good powerful "liquid" vitamin / mineral
supplement to keep from getting "malnutrition" and protecting the
"bones", a big danger with WLS. Try liquid VEMMA, it has 1000
IU of vitamin D3. Go to www.TrySomeVemma.com
