Question:
I had a revision 2/14/08 and this week have experienced diarehha, bloating, and

stomach cramps. I've had adhesions before and it doesn't feel like that. I have pain on my lower left side. Does this sound like anything you guys know about and should I go to the emergency room?    — mdf1us (posted on May 4, 2008)

Doesn't sound nice. What about calling your surgeon's office for advice? If it gets worse and it's the weekend, you'd better be seen. God Bless, Laura

Call your surgeon tonight. The answering service will forward your call and he will call you back and advise you what to do and where to go. I went to an emergency room, and they knew nothing about gastric bypass, but gave me anti-inflamatory drugs, but it burnt a hole in my pouch. My sergeon told me call him or his nurse for assistance and directions. When I called about the pouch pain he met me at the distance hospital near my home and directed them what to check and found the hole in the pouch. They knocked me out for a few minutes and fixed it with his directions. I now call and tell him I will go back to his hospital, but noting has been a problem since. Best of success to you.
