Question:
I am 3yrs post-op and have had to take Lortab for dental surgery.

The Lortab caused sever discomfort in my stomache and intestinal track. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I take protonix for an ulcer I developed almost immediately after rny, but it does not seem to help. Gloria Wilder 300/146.    — Kissie (posted on December 11, 2006)

you need to contact your surgeon or pcp and let them know what's going on. it could just be your body's reaction to the lortab or it may be further irritating the ulcer, which lortab will do. are you eating before taking the lortab? eating prior to the lortab will help coat your stomache and lessen the irritation, but continue to be cautious. hope this helps , holly

HI Gloria, I to had an ulcer after my rny. I had to take vicodin when I had my teeth pulled and I found If I didn't eat something first, It was like( bend over stomach cramps), but if I had ate first It didn't bother me.
