Question:
What should you do for heartburn if you are 4 days post-op?

My heart goes out to you, it isn't enough to have the stomach pain, and then the other on top of that, poor baby. Please call your Doc ASAP to get antibiotics for the infection. Not much else you can do, I had a bladder infection when I came home too. A BIG FAT YUCK!!

I was told by my surgeon to use mylanta and it worked well for me. Make sure that it is indeed heartburn though and not some other complication :) Best of luck! Tryna

For the UTI contact your PCP. For heart burn, ask PCP about Nexium, Prevacid, Protonix, or something like that I think. Karen
