Question:
Why in the world do I feel like dancing?
Has anyone ever experienced this burst of happiness!!!!! I haven't danced in years, years I say!! But today I turned up the volume on my teenage daughters cd's (really hip music) and I danced my a** off and I had such a wonderful time!! I was getting down, y'all. My daughters walked in on me and their mouths just hit the floor--smile. Am I supposed to be this HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!! — mischief85 (posted on October 31, 2005)

What a wonderful feeling! Just think before the surgery we would have never
attempted doing anything like that (at least not me, lol). Sounds like you
really enjoyed yourself, keep it up.

I am so glad to hear that you have had such a good burst of energy. I say
do what makes you happy. And it sounds like you really had a good time
doing it. Enjoy being the new you in all respects.

well it is no wonder you have this burst of energy, when you are fat
burning, you get twice as much energy per gram of fat burnt than you do of
carbohydrat. (fat 1 gram burnt= 9cal and 1 gram of carbohydrate burnt = 4
cal. It is no wonder hat you feel energetic, and couple that with the
feeling you get when you look in the mirror, "Oh what a feeling"
and by the way I have danced for the last 15 years as part of my exercize
regime. I do it with my partner at least 4 times a week and sometimes more
when we compete. We dance Rock and Roll and is that fat burning!!! And oh
yes I am 64 years young! keep on dancing!

Of course, I believe we are supposed to be this happy! And I also believe
that you should just kick back and enjoy the ride and be happy! and
healthy! Enjoy it. May you always remain happy and healthy!

Stephanie ... after years and years (most likely, if you're like most of
the rest of us) of being fat and depressed and unable to bend over to tie
your shoes without medical supervision, the freedom that comes with WLS can
be intoxicating -- for (probably) the first time you can remember you're
enjoying your body, and it's working the way it's supposed to. As one of
the other posters said, you go, girl -- dance, dance, dance!
