Question:
Does anyone know what is a RIDER? it deals with your insurance plan.

A rider is a separate policy that is attached to your main policy. I have
never heard of it with a health issurance policy, but know it is often used
with home owners policies. For example ... you have your home owners
policy but have an original painting that exceeds your policy max for an
individual item if stolen/damaged etc. You would purchase a rider to cover
that specific painting that would cover theft/damage/earthquake etc. You
pay a fee for the rider up and above your regular policy.

I just did a search and found that life insurance can have riders too ...
