United Healthcare PPO and Plastic Surgery

I am looking to have excess skin removed from my stomach area and arms. Anyone out there who has UHC PPO, can you tell me if you had any problems getting approve.    — CAROL C. (posted on May 20, 2003)

Lots of luck. I've sent 5 dr letters, 2 inches of medical records and pics out the wahzoo for my appeal with UHC. I will not be suprised if I get denied again as I've not noticed anyone out of TX area being approved. Hopefully you'll get some posts contradicting mine:)
