Question:
How long did it take you to be approved after sending appeal to ins. company?

I was denied by Aetna and have sent in an appeal.....it's almost been a month......how long did it take you? I am getting very frustrated!!!    — pamela1 (posted on October 16, 2002)

It took Aetna about 6 weeks to approve my husband and myself. I understand that they have altered things a bit for Gastric Bypass requirements. Try contacting the State Board of Insurance, maybe they can help.
