I am 1 month post-op and I am using Equal and have had no problems. Good
luck.

splenda is superb to equal. you can cook and bake with it - you can't with
other artificial sweeteners. it also tastes like real sugar to me.

I was a faithful equal user....until I tried Splenda! Now I hooked. It is
NOT an artificial sweetener so there is never an after taste and you can
use it on/in anything. As a matter of fact I am going to make KoolAid with
it tonight. I can't the bad aftertaste of Crystal Light anymore. Also, I
have been noticing that the grocery stores have been having Splenda on sale
lately, too...which is always an added bonus. Good luck.

We were told that the artificial sweetners (sweet n low, equal etc.) are
appetite enhancers as well as sugar substitutes. They actually increase
your hunger so you are apt to eat more. I use the splenda in everything
including making koolaid. It's cheaper than fruit2O and Crystal Light and,
again, does not contain any artificial sweetner.

I am almost 6 months post-op, have lost over 100 pounds and use all three
products with no problems at all. I don't drink coffee or tea so the
sweetners I use are in Crystal Lite, Country Time Lemonade (SF), No Sugar
Added Hot Chocolate mix by Swiss Miss, SF Carnation Instant Breakfast and
in sf popscicles. Some of these things have aspertame (equal) and some
have Splenda.

THEY ARE ALL GREAT. JUST PICK THE ONE YOU LIKE THE BEST, IF YOU ARE BAKING
SPENDA CAN BE USE 1CUP FOR 1 CUP, I USE THEM ALL , DEPENDING ON WHERE I AM
AND WHAT THEY HAVE, BUT I DO KEEP THE SPLENDA AT HOME--LAURIE
