What did your doctor recomend? They had to send you home with a plan . So
many are different. I wouldn't want to see you get advice that is not
appropriate for you or that conflicts with your doctors . I can only tell
you that I was on clear liquids for 4 weeks and full liquids for 2 more. My
doctor defined clear liquids as anything you can see through. Broth ,
water, sugar free jello, sugar free popsicles , flat diet gingerale, crystal
lite, things like that. I don't think the main objective of this post op
diet was to get full, it was to allow the new pouch , intestine and stoma a
chance to heel. I had open Rny. I didn't look to see what surgery you
had.Good luck. If you still have questions , why not call your doctor in
the morning so they can clarify this for you.

For my RNY gastric bypass, I will be on 3 tablespoons of pureed meat 3
times a day and lots of liquids, preferrably with a protein supplement in
it, but not for 15 minutes before a meal, during a meal, and not for an
hour after a meal. OF COURSE DO WHAT YOUR DOCTOR TELLS YOU TO DO. Not just
what you might read here. Your doctor should be there to help you with any
questions you have.
