Question:
I am having issues at 7 months post op with digesting any kind of meat or wheat. I
When I eat meat meat, no matter if it is chicken, beef, pork or lamb... no matter if it is ground, it will not stay down. I have the same issue with any type of wheat product. I can't even keep down gluten free pasta... spelt or wheat germ. Any helpful hints? Or am I an involuntary vegetarian now? lol — titan51171 (posted on July 30, 2013)

If you have celiac disease, the MD could run a test after you eat wheat for
2 weeks. Catch 22, eh? I dropped wheat out of my food plan in order to
help lose weight faster. I substituted with a rice tortilla which I nuked
for 1 minute so it was crispy. It satisfied the carb craving. You can find
them at Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, if you are on the west coast. Of
course, I assume you are chewing the protein at least 30 times and are
taking teeny weeny bites. Good luck to you!

Read Wheat Belly by Dr. William Davis. You won't want wheat or grain after
reading it. ;)
