Honestly, I haven't seen this, but if you are sipping liquids with your
meals or 30 minutes before or after you eat, you are multiplying greatly
your capacity. It's not about what you are ABLE to eat, it's a tool to help
you not eat more than you should. When you reach full diet, you should be
eating a piece of meat the size of a new deck of cards, and no more that
1/2 cup of a vegetable and a non refined starch. You should be avoiding no
only sweets and fried and fatty foods, but white foods like potatoes,
bread, rice and pasta. Some limited whole grains are good. This, three
times per day and little or no snacking. Protein shakes are okay, high
protein snacks like jerky are okay, I like cheese (watch fat) and by all
means, avoid grazing. This is eating on the move, snacking throughout the
day, etc. The surgery is NOT a cure all. You have to do the work with the
tool. A car doesn't drive itself, and neither does the pouch. Walk, get in
a pool, do whatever you can to tone up and exercise and you should see
better results. I'm not trying to sound fussy or bossy, but these are the
facts and I would not be doing you a favor if I didn't share them. If I can
be of help, feel free to contact me. I do hope you great success on your
journey and hope some of this helps.

Wow, you've been thru the ringer. Hope you are physically better soon. The
first poster is absolutely correct. Perhaps you should consider seeing a
nutritionist who specializes in bariatric patients to help you understand
proper nutrition in the appropriate amounts. Barring that invest in
educating yourself with some good books like the Beck Diet Solution, etc.
Although this is a great site for self help, if you feel you can't do this
on your own also please consider seeing a therapist who treats bariatric
patients. It's easy to say "just because you can eat a lot doesn't
mean you should". Enforcing that mindset is another if you have
underlying issues that cause you to overeat. Local, live support groups
would be a benefit too. I wish you well.

you need to meet with someone who will lay out a specific eating plan.
Sounds lack you lack direction. You have had a tough time of it.
Avoid carbs Potato, rice, bread, pasta. Lots of beans and soft foods to
start. Once you are back to regular eating if you are hungery a lot eat
fruit and veg to fill up.
even if the pouch is faulty somehow, eating this way will take the weight
off and keep it off.
