Question:
Does anyone know a surgeon who will operate on a pediatric patient?

I would check the net. You can go to the realize band site and lap band site and start calling surgeons and inquiring. I know that there aren't many who do surgery on pediatric cases but there are some. I saw a girl on the internet that was like 8 and weighed 400 lbs and they did surgery on her and I also saw a story on tv and a 16 year old boy was almost 500 lbs and he got the duodenal switch operation so just keep trying tuntil you find someone.

I had Duodenal Switch Surgery and I remember a girl under 18 having "partial" surgery...the doctor wouldn't do a certain portion of the surgery because of age and continued growth. Ara Keshishian...he is awesome!
