I put in some Land O Lakes fat free half and half and then 1 tsp of
whatever type of coffee mate I want and it's very good.

I use Coffemate, half/half, whatever is available and have suffered no ill
effects. I usually only drink one 16 oz coffee each day so I don't think
I'm getting much over an ounce of whatever I use to lighten my coffee. I
drink regular coffee also, I only went for the decaf for about the first
month post surgery.

I use regular coffee mate every day. I have one cup of coffee every
morning and it has never bothered me. I had my RNY 1.5 years ago and never
had a problem with coffee or the cream.. Good luck

I am 8 weeks post op and have been drinking decafe coffee almost every
morning. I use regular creamer but in smaller portions than before surgery.
I tolerate it well. I also use splenda or sweet and low.

First of all... THANKS BARB for asking this question. I knew if I hung
around the Q&A I would get all my questions answered. LOL
I to was wondering the same thing about the milk free creamer. This is what
I am using currently and have for years as I am lactose intolerant,I only
drink decaf and use sugar subs so Great!! Also thought that every now and
the n I would be able to add to the coffee unsweetened chocolate syrup to
make moka and save the high prices of flavored coffee. By the way the
flavored coffee that can be brewed at home is full of sugar even prior to
you adding it just to ler you know. I learned this at Weight Watchers.

I have coffee and creamer everyday. However, I buy the sugar free liquid
version as I have a problem with sugar and many of the creamers contain
sugar. The sugar free version comes in Hazelnut, Vanilla, and Vanilla
Caramel, that I have been able to find. If I am out and have coffee, I will
use less of the creamer that is available. I guess it all depends on what
you can tolerate.

Been drinking regular coffee after one year PO now for the last 5 years. I
use either soymilk creamer or flavored protein powder and cinnamon...Non
dairy creamer doesn't bother me, but it's useless (non-nutritional)
calories...It's garbage food. At least with milk or even cream (fat and
all) you are getting something natural and with protein...Just because
something doesn't have sugar or fat doesn't make it healthy! Hint though,
when using protein with hot beverages, you need to mix it (those hand held
mixers or magic bullet are FABULOUS for this) with warm liquid first or it
will clump...Every now and then I use the fake stuff too ( Let's face
it...It tastes good!) ...But more often I am looking for nutrition...Hope
that helps
