Question:
Is there any way around a 5 Year obesity history?

I am missing 3 years of my 5 year weight history. i was uninsured at the time so i did not go to the doct. I have 2009 and 2008 covered. I received a denial because of this. this is all i need.    — slr0509 (posted on April 10, 2009)

Hi, Stacy. During those three years did you go to the emergency room, or emergency clinic. I was told by insurance that the weight just needed to be documented by a medical facility of any sort. I even turned in a work physical that showed my weight for one of the years. I waiting for insurance approval now. I hope this helps. Good luck.

I didn't have insurance for 3 of my 5 years. My insurance company requested photos. I dug up the ugliest and fattest pictures I could find, dated them, and turned them in. It worked. I was approved and 2 1/2 weeks out of RNY.
