Has anyone had a burning sensation in the upper chest area especially in the morning?

Hi i had a bad problem with that right after my surgery. I was put on
reglan and levsin four times a day and at bedtime. I mostly have that first
thing in the morning. I take these meds at bedtime now and as soon as I
wake in the morning, it goes away as soon as I take it.Are you taking your
Carafate?

sounds like a bad case of heartburn. Have it checked out. You do not want
to let it go and develop and ulcer or worse.

I did newly post op and stayed on prevacid to help for a while...Don't lie
down after eating either! That doesn't help!Stay seated upright til food
digests fully...

Yes, A year after my band surgery I started to get that burning and it
hurts. They said it was heartburn and they even did an upper GI. So now I
am on medicine 2x a day. I don't have to take the 2 though it works with
the one for me. Some days I don't have any burning at all.
