Question:
Where can I find a good body suit?
I am planning to have surgery March 10th. As I loose weight I know I will haveloose skin. I am wondering where to find a good body suit that will hold all my loose skin in ... but that does not bind me around my waist like a gurtle does ... that only tightens my stomach and then there is this huge roll where the gurtle stops. — Tammy Cardwell (posted on February 1, 2008)

Try what they call an "all in one" or a "body shaper".
You can find them at www.roamans.com or www.lanebryantcatalog.com Hope
this helps!

The kymaro they are selling on the infomericials really work good. They say
you get the bottoms free but you have to pay shipping.I di not like the
bottoms,it was lik it squished everything and looked funny.I love the top
body suit. Its like a tank top that is longer to cover stomach (hold it in
with out the bulge)the boob part is cut out and even lifts thoose up.They
ask your height and weight and figure your size.If you have quite a bit of
extra skin I would tell them you wanted to get 1 size bigger.I kept mine
but I would of rather had one size bigger. It even hide the back skin or fat
and the muffin top over your pants.Try it it is really worth it!I have
tried others but this is the BEST!Sandy Hanson

I don't know what your current size is so I can only offer what works for
me. I HATE anything restrictive and before surgery I always wore
"stretch" everything. (elastic banded pants) I have since gotten
a pair of "Tummy Tuck" Not Your Daughters Jeans and OMG do I ever
LOVE them!!!! I never thought a pair of "regular looking" jeans
could be so comfortable. Of course I am now a year out from surgery and I
do have some loose skin, but they succeed in "holding &
hiding" that!!! They are well worth the extra $$$.

Check out a pair of spanx. They have camis, bottoms, pantyhose and body
suits. They are the most comfortable things ever invented. They do not feel
like a girdle but boy do they hold you in. They were invented by a woman
who had gastric bypass surgery. You can buy them in high end department
stores but I purchased mine on ebay, new of course but a lot cheaper. Try a
pair out, I promise you will not be sorry. I love the cami tops, they
really smooth out the tummy area. They do not bind and do not roll down and
are so lightweight you will forget you have them on. I am at goal now and
am afraid of plastic surgery, so until I get over this fear these are my
best friend. Good luck and I hope you will try them, so much better than
constricting girdles.

Try Avenue.com, they have body suits in their shapewear section.

I more than concur with the suggestion to get Spanx. You will find this to
be MOST confortable with a variety of options form girdles to slips. They
sell them in plus size at lane bryant and also in regular sizes as you
reduce at nordsroms stores or nordstroms.com. You can often find some
styles at a discount at nordstoms rack. Also try spanx.com. I have 7 pair
of the capri style that you wear under pants. One for each day of the
weak. I found them at a discount at nordstroms rack but I'd have
eventually bout a collection at regular price because they are that great.
I would not wast money on the full panty hose tight because you can get the
other biker short and wear it time and again over your other less expensive
non reinforced panty ---but then I have not tried them so maybe they are
cool and I am missing something. Enjoy and happy lossing.

I have found for me...something rather inexpensive and works well. It's
the barely there cami and under pants. I can pull the cami down over my
tummy and pull the underpants up and it is a complete body suit that is not
at all restrictive yet smooths me all over. I'm not even aware I have it
on...I have them in three colors...I get mine from the outlet store...they
are very inexpensive. If you have a major skin problem this might not be
enough. Regards~

Body Magic by a company named Ardyss International. It does hold you in
like a girdle but in not tight; your rolls won't show before or after
surgery. Go to ardyss.com website and you will see the video about it.
sized by waist size. 24-50 in. I have one;pricey at $168 but it is worth
it. I looked like a Jane Russell in her heyday once I put mine on. Can
exercise and do anything in it. email me if you have any questions
