I am having the same problem, I have been told by my nutritionist that my
protein/carb ratio is off and I need to increase my protein. No more then
35g at one time. I have heard some people say they try to get all their
required protein with breakfast so they do not need to keep track during
the day. Your body can only absorb so much protein at one time. So, if you
have more then 35g at one time, the rest is just flushed out. Unless you
are working out on a regular basis, then you can absorb more. Try to
increase your protein and lessen your carbs and try to exercise more. You
need to kick your metoblism into gear again.

Go back to 0 carbs for 5 to 7 days. Eat only protein and no-carb veggies.
Follow that very strictly for the 5-7 days.

Make sure you get enough protein ... drink water ... exercise ... don't
snack or drink high calorie beverages.

There are a lot of things you don't tell us that could help determine IF
there is a problem. If you had a tremendous amount to lose and have
already lost, say, 200 lbs, this I would say is a natural plateau that you
need to wait out. If you have lost only 70, I would say you need to look
at what you are eating and how often. I would also say you need to look at
your vitamins and make sure you are taking them because those B vitamins
that we malabsorb so well also aid with not just energy, but also with our
metabolism. More information on how heavy you were, how much you've lost,
what you are eating and how much exercise you are getting would be very
helpful.

Hi Linda, I agree with Dinka if you tell us a little about what you are
eating in your day might help determine if
you need a dr.s help or not. Are you following the rules
no soda, lots of water, no snacks, mostly protien,& Vitamins. Are you
getting any exercise? Post a little more information & were here to
help you out if we can.

I have the same problem, and i am doing everything I should. After a
while, your weight loss just slows down. I have about thrity more poiunds
to go, and have not lost for a while, but my clothe are looser.
You could be putting on muscle and losing ffat, since muscle weighs more
than fat.
