Immediately after Lap. RNY?

I had a catheter, took it out the 2nd day.

Hi Julie - I did have a catheter. They took it out pretty quickly but I had to have it re-instered because I was retaining too much fluid from the IV. This was on day 2 of my hospital stay, I believe.

Hi, Yes I had both, but I have really bad veins so they had to put a central line in and the cath they took out the day after surgery. Neither were a big problem for me. Nut

I had a catheter that was removed the following day.
